History of Beeta Aquarium
Beeta Aquarium was founded in 1986 by Mr Mahinda Kularatne appreciating his childhood hobby of producing and decorating ornamental fish tanks and ponds and being a breeder of fish to become a well reputed and acclaimed entrepreneur in his chosen field.
Beeta Aquarium is the pioneer in this field having produced and either sold or hired Ornamental Fish Tanks and Ponds for over 600 clients covering all 25 Districts including People’s Bank, Union Bank, Seylan Bank, People’s Leasing, Durdens Hospital, Asiri Central, Ninewells, Hemas Hospital, Army Hospital, Presidential Secretariat, High Commissions etc. and many residences.
However, due to operational difficulties faced with the growth of the firm, the Management of the firm had to concentrate on selected business-centered mainly around Colombo and suburbs and now we are happy to announce our ability once again to expand our business beyond Colombo and its’ suburbs.
Today the services of Beeta Aquarium are sought by numerous institutions, famous personalities, and many others who wish to relax in the tranquility of a fish tank or a pond.

Award Winning Beeta Aquarium
The firm successfully participated in the Aquarama Exhibitions held in Singapore described as the greatest aquatic exhibition on earth held every other year for ornamental fish, aquatic plants, and accessories in 2013 and 2015.
Beeta Aquarium won 3rd place for freshwater planted tanks in 2013 which was the first time Sri Lanka won an international award. Going one step ahead Beeta Aquarium won the 2nd and 3rd places in 2015.
